For the ANWB we transformed their popular Frank & Gert content into versatile 10-second social snippets designed for year-round paid campaigns across multiple platforms. The project required rethinking content creation specifically for short-form social.

The Challenge

Converting Frank & Gert’s longer organic videos into impactful 10-second snippets proved difficult when simply repurposing existing material. Previous attempts without dedicated production failed to deliver results. We needed to organize a specialized shooting day focused on creating platform-native content that aligned with the lo-fi trend while maintaining flexibility across formats.

The Insight

The ‘lo-fi’ creative approach became our guiding principle, emphasizing authenticity and relatability. Fast-paced edits combined with genuine content and minimal production elements matched audience expectations perfectly. This approach created content that felt native to social platforms while performing well as paid placements.

The Campaign

We produced a comprehensive series of social snippets optimized for various formats (4:5, 1:1, 9:16). Each snippet featured quick edits, supporting text elements, sound effects, and background music, giving ANWB a flexible toolkit for authentic product promotion throughout the year.

The Results

The campaign delivered exceptional performance:

  • Cost-per-session was 60% lower than the target threshold
  • The multi-platform approach generated significant reach with high efficiency

Platform insights revealed YouTube Shorts effectively expanded unique reach. Expanding to TikTok proved highly cost-effective in generating traffic with minimal investment. The multi-layered content approach across Meta platforms drove substantial landing page views with high engagement rates.
